The reasons the actor director Manoj Kumar die were extreme heart-related complications and decompensated liver cirrhosis as per the medical certificate from the hospital. Despite so many health issues, the legendary actor Manoj Kumar remained content in his last days. The cremation will take place the next morning, as announced by his family members.

On the other hand, Union Minister, Rajnath Singh also paid his tribute and called Manoj Kumwar a versatile actor. He recalled his movies as filled with patriotism. Rajnath Singh further wrote that his memorable performances have influenced our culture positively and rooted these learnings in people across generations. Manoj Kumar was born Harikrishnan Goswami in the year 1937 in an area called Abbottabad. This area was under British India at that period and now it is in Pakistan. He started his Bollywood career in the year 1957 with a passion for Films. His first film was Fashion. His breakthrough came in 1961 with Kanch Ki Gudiya, where he was cast alongside Sayeeda Khan. In the year 1965, he gave an incredible performance in the movie Gumnaam, which was one of the highest-grossing movies of that year. In the same year, he did Shaheed which was a story about the life of a freedom fighter Bhagat Singh.

The nickname “Bharat Kumar” was given to him due to his powerful roles in patriotic films such as Upkaar (1967), Purab Aur Paschim (1970), and Kranti (1981). Apart from acting, he was also in directing films. He directed and acted in Shor (1972). His talent was recognized with numerous awards, including the National Film Award, the Padma Shri in 1992, the Filmfare Lifetime Achievement Award in 1999, and the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 2015. In the year 2004, Manoj Kumar was officially joined as a leader in the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and marked his commencement in politics alongside his film career.
