Mercedes-Benz G-Class 400d launched in India
Mercedes-Benz has established the revised G-Class line-up in the Indian market, which has been enclosed under the words G 400d Adventure and G 400d AMG Line. The German car manufacturer has substituted the new model type with the G 350d variant.
Both of the most recent G-Class 400d models cost Rs 2.55 crore (ex-showroom), which is Rs 83 lakh higher than the G 350d. The SUV can be reserved by customers for Rs 1.5 lakh.
Eco-friendly material made by the car
The company have utilised elements assembled of good quality recycled plastic in the G 400d Aside from this, eco-friendly materials have also been utilised in the cabin, which contains coconut fibre with latex emulsion. Backrest cushioning and wood fibre have been fitted in the form of cabin door panels.
G-Class Line-up: The performance
A 3-litre OM656 inline 6-cylinder diesel engine that produces 700NM of torque and 330HP of power the G 400d. The G-Class boasts an impressive top speed of 210 kilometres per hour (km/h) and can achieve the exhilarating 0 to 100 km/h acceleration in a mere 6.4 seconds.
Feature of G400d Adventure Edition
Mercedes has introduced the G 400d Adventure Edition exclusively tailored for the Indian market. This special edition model is equipped with various adventure-focused features, including a roof rack, a detachable ladder at the rear, 18-inch alloy wheels with a 5-spoke design, and a full-size spare wheel mounted on the tailgate.
G400 AMG Line Features
The G 400d AMG Line represents the more athletic variant of the G-Class. It incorporates a range of sport-oriented features such as Nappa leather upholstery, a sporty multifunction steering wheel, 20-inch alloy wheels, and a stainless-steel spare wheel cover.
