New iPhone 15 series Pricing Unveiled at Apple Event

While the price for the Indian market is set to be revealed shortly, Apple has disclosed that the starting price for the US market will be $799. Remarkably, the pricing for the New iPhone 15 series in India will remain consistent with last year’s model. Similarly, the company has maintained the pricing for the iPhone 15 Pro, which will retail at $999 in the US, while the iPhone 15 Pro Max will be available for $1,199. These devices are scheduled for release in the US on September 22.

However, there has been an upward revision in the pricing of the Pro models for the Indian market. In India, the iPhone 15 Pro model will start at Rs 1,34,900, and the Pro Max variant will be priced at Rs 1,59,900. The iPhone 15, with 128GB of storage, will be available at a price of Rs 79,900, while the Plus model will retail for Rs 89,900.

Apple Unveils Design Changes for iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro Models

The New iPhone 15 series continues to embrace its familiar boxy design, featuring a dual-camera setup at the rear. However, a significant shift can be noted with the addition of a USB Type C port at the bottom, marking the departure from the Lightning port previously used in iPhones. This change simplifies the charging experience, eliminating the need for a separate charger for iPhone users.

Another noteworthy design alteration announced by Apple is the introduction of a punch-hole display design on the front. While punch-hole displays were initially introduced with the iPhone 14 Pro models last year, many were disappointed that this feature wasn’t available on the standard models. Fortunately, that has changed with the New iPhone 15 series, as all models now incorporate the Dynamic Island feature.

Furthermore, Apple has innovatively replaced the traditional mute switch button with a new Action Button. This button allows users to swiftly access shortcuts, utilize accessibility features, launch the camera, activate the flashlight, and perform various other tasks. While its primary function remains as a ringer switch, it now offers the potential for users to unlock a multitude of additional functionalities, transforming it into a versatile tool that extends beyond adjusting your phone’s ringer.

New iPhone 15 series: Unveiling the Impressive Specs

The iPhone 15 retains its compact form factor, featuring a 6.1-inch Liquid Retina display akin to its predecessor, the iPhone 14, and in line with the tradition of earlier iPhone models. Meanwhile, the Plus model continues to sport a generous 6.7-inch screen.

A substantial leap in the camera department is one of the standout features of the iPhone 15. Both the standard and Plus models boast a formidable 48-megapixel primary camera sensor, marking a significant upgrade from the 12-megapixel dual-camera system found in the previous year’s model. This hardware mirrors what was introduced with the iPhone 14 Pro, complete with a new telephoto feature integrated into the Camera app. The camera enhancements extend to new night mode capabilities, an improved Smart HDR mode, and a variety of other camera modes aimed at enhancing the photography experience.

Video enthusiasts will also be pleased to learn that the iPhone 15 supports 4K video recording. Apple has introduced an enhanced portrait mode that delivers superior bokeh effects, faster shutter speeds, and more accessible features. Within the portrait mode, users can exercise greater control over focus and depth, offering increased creative freedom. On the rear, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera with an f/1.6 aperture and sensor-shift stabilization further enhances photography capabilities. Additionally, the standard models feature a 12-megapixel TrueDepth front-facing camera, ensuring high-quality selfies and enabling Face ID functionality.

Beneath the surface, the standard iPhone 15 models are powered by the A16 Bionic chipset, a processor also featured in last year’s iPhone 14 Pro models. Apple asserts that iPhone 15 users can expect a full day’s battery life, ensuring prolonged usage without frequent charging.

In the realm of call quality, the iPhone 15 deploys advanced machine learning models to effectively filter out background noise during calls, even in noisy environments, providing users with the option to activate “voice isolation.” The primary distinction between the iPhone 15 and its Plus counterpart lies in the display size and battery capacity, with the Plus variant offering slightly more in both these aspects.

iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max: Unveiling the Impressive Specs

The iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max models boast lighter yet more robust titanium chassis, featuring a sleek brushed effect designed to minimize unsightly fingerprint smudges. The edges of the device have been elegantly contoured, seamlessly blending the metal and glass components. Notably, a USB-C port now graces the device’s bottom, aligning with the industry’s latest standards.

Maintaining screen sizes from their predecessors, the Pro Max model retains its expansive 6.7-inch OLED display, while the Pro version offers a 6.1-inch screen. Both Pro models showcase Super Retina XDR displays enhanced with ProMotion technology, supporting the always-on display feature and the newly introduced StandBy mode in iOS 17. These innovations promise dynamic visuals with efficient power management.

Powering these cutting-edge devices is the formidable A17 Pro chip, a computing powerhouse that Apple boldly claims can rival the performance of high-end PCs within the smartphone domain. Bolstered by a revamped GPU, the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max aim to redefine mobile gaming, offering an unparalleled gaming experience.

Adding a touch of style, the latest iPhone 15 Pro smartphones come in a range of new colors, including Black Titanium, White Titanium, Blue Titanium, and Natural Titanium, allowing users to express their personal tastes while enjoying top-tier performance.
