Primarily, the users in all three apps will be able to check whether the testing center is a private entity or run by the government. This new feature is being rolled out for both Android and iOS devices.
Currently, Google has unified over 700 testing labs on Search, Assistant, and Maps spread around 300 cities. Google is working with the authorities to recognize and add more testing labs located all over the country. On Goggle Maps, search results related to Coronavirus testing or Covid testing will show a list of close testing labs with the links to Google Search for the introductory government-authorization needs.
