1. Sloth Bear

Sloth bears can be trained and kept as pets. However, sloth bears are considered one of Asia’s most dangerous animals. They can be very dangerous if people intrude and disturb their space. Sloth bears can cause more than a dozen deaths each year. Across India, there are less than 20,000 sloth bears left. However, their attacks on humans have been increasing recently.

2. Bengal Tiger

Tigers are deadly animals and intruding on their habitats can cause danger.  It is one of the most deadliest animals in India. You will never know where they are hiding because they wait patiently for their prey and attack out of nowhere when you are not even expecting it. Although tigers often avoid humans, some can become dangerous and attack people. 

3. Elephant

Elephant can be very dangerous as they are considered one of the extremely dangerous animals. They can cause death in several ways. They might crush people or toss them with dangerous force which can be impossible for a human being to avoid. 

In India, elephants are in danger because people are destroying their natural habitats. As a result of this destruction, encounters between elephants and people are becoming more common.

4. Common Krait

Getting bitten by the Indian Krait which is the most venomous snake in the Indian subcontinent’s forests can cause deaths. Common Krait is its other name. Kraits mainly prey on other snakes. Their venom affects the nerves and muscles, causing paralysis. If breathing muscles get affected by the venom, it can be life-threatening. 

5. Saltwater Crocodile

The saltwater crocodile is one of the largest predators in the world and also the biggest reptile. A saltwater crocodile can weigh over 2,000 pounds. These crocodiles live in lagoons, mangroves swamps, and deltas. They are considered the most dangerous crocodiles for humans. So it is important to avoid going near water areas where these crocodiles reside so you can save yourself from this predator which is one of the deadliest animals on the planet, the saltwater crocodile.

6. Rock Python

The Indian rock python is also called the Ajgar. The Ajgar is considered one of the deadliest wild animals because of how it kills its prey. Smaller pythons usually don’t cause threat to humans and animals but larger ones can. They can easily consume pets like dogs and cats.

7. Red Scorpion

The red scorpion is considered the deadliest species of scorpion in the world. Getting stung by this scorpion can cause serious health problems. This species of scorpion can be found in astern Nepal, Sri Lanka, and eastern Pakistan other than India. The western Ghats in India is home to one of the largest scorpions. 

8. Indian Leopard

Known as Panthera pardus fusca, the Indian leopard is one of the large cats that you will find in India. It is the most dangerous wild animal and the deaths of 200 people caused by a leopard at the Jim Corbett National Park explains this statement.  Himachal Pradesh, Maharashtra, Uttarakhand, West Bengal, and Gujrat are some places in India leopard attacks happen often. Due to illegal hunting, illegal trade of their skins, and habitat loss, their chances of disappearing are high. 

9. King Cobra

The King Cobra is the world’s longest venomous snake and can be found in a large number in the forests of the Indian subcontinent. Although it is the most venomous snake, it often consumes other snakes, rat snakes, and small pythons and avoids people. Despite being a dangerous species of snake, it prefers to escape than coming in front of human beings. It only attacks humans when it feels trapped to defend itself.

10. Mosquito

In India, mosquitos are common flying bugs. Female mosquitos often consume nectar and blood while male mosquitoes consume nectar. The bites of mosquitos can cause health problems like malaria and dengue fever. Every year, malaria causes the deaths of over 200,000 people. Dengue is also a major illness that causes many deaths. These small bugs can seem normal since they can be seen commonly, anywhere. However, they can be deadly.
