As the second wave of Coronavirus has created devastation’s in the country, forcing the Government to take strict actions to curb the outspread of the virus. On the one hand, states are imposing restrictions, while students request the Government to either postpone or cancel the exams. So on Wednesday, April 14th, 2020, at noon Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced that CBSE 10th board exam 2021 was canceled & 12th exam postponed. This is a great relief for students and their parents.

Students want CBSE board exam 2021  to be canceled after Maharashtra class 12th board exams 2021 because of the wave in coronavirus cases. Due to the increase in Coronavirus cases in India, the huge number of students of class 10th and 12th have signed appeals requesting the Government to either cancel board exams scheduled to be held in May or manage them in online mode. As per that Honorable PM Narendra Modi made announcement today regarding the CBSE Boards Exam of 2021 and these are major updates about the CBSE Board Exams 2021 for now.

This big decision was taken at a high-level meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, Cabinet Secretary, Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister, School and Higher Education Secretaries and other top authorities attended the meeting.

The country’s pandemic condition sees a comeback of positive coronavirus cases in most of the states, with some states having been changed more than others. In this condition, schools have been closed down in eleven states. Due to the present condition of the COVID-19 and school closings and taking into account the students’ safety and well-being, the Government has decided to postpone the CBSE Board Exams 2021.

The Chief Minister of Delhi welcomed the decision to cancel CBSE class 10th board exams and postpones class 12th exams. CM of Delhi tweeted, “I am happy that the exams have been cancelled/ postponed. This is an excellent relief for number of students and their parents”. Priyanka Gandhi Vadra also greeted the Centre’s decision to cancel the 10th board exams and requested the Government to decide on the 12th exam.

CBSE Class 10th Board Exam Cancelled 

The board exams for class 10th to be held from May 4th to June 14th, 2021, are canceled. The results of the class 10th board will be made as per to objective basis to be formed by the Board. Any student who is not satisfied with the marks allotted to him/her will be given a chance to sit in an exam as and when the circumstances are favorable to hold the exams.

CBSE Class 12th Board Exam Postponed

Board Exam for class 12th to be held from May 4th to June 14th, 2021 are now postponed. These exams will be taken henceforth. The condition will be evaluated on June 1st, 2021, by the Board, and details will be shared consequently. A notice of at least 15 days will be given before the start of the examination.Because of the surge in COVID-19 cases in the country, most parents and students are raising concerns for safety and posting their opinions on Twitter. Now, after this biggest news, the great relief for several students and their parents.
