Step to link PAN with Aadhaar Card
- Visit the Income Tax official portal – https://incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in/
- Click on Register enter your PAN number; your PAN number will become your Login ID.
- After that, you need to do Login
- After logging in, click on “LINK Aadhaar to PAN.”
- Then you have to enter the basic details like your date of birth, First name, Last Name, and gender, or they might be already submitted according to your PAN card details.
- Type the Aadhaar number and exact name mentioned on it.
- Click on ‘I have only year of birth in the Aadhaar card’ if only the year’s birth.
- Then click on the check box mentioning ‘I agree to validate my Aadhaar details’ that will give your consent that you agree.
- Click on “Link Aadhaar”
- A message will be shown on your screen informing PAN, and Aadhaar Card has been linked.

Send an SMS to 567678 or 56161 by the registered mobile number of the Aadhaar card and Pan Card in this format.
