Indian Students to Spend $70 Billion Annually on Overseas Education by 2025:Indian Student Mobility Report

Indian Student Mobility Report 2023, published by the Global Education Conclave, it is clear that students opting for higher overseas education have grown fast, their spending abroad is ready to cross $70 billion by 2025. 

According to the reports, a minimum of 1.3 million Indian students are choosing abroad for higher study in 2023, with Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Punjab, and Maharashtra, all counted as the top Indian states for choosing abroad or going students. 

Indian Students Mobility Report 2023, with the title,” Beyond Beds & Boundaries” delivers insights into the agitation of Indian students pursuing higher education abroad, in some common countries like the United States, The United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia. 

The report declared that recently some other countries like Germany, Philippines, France, Kyrgyzstan, Ireland, Singapore, Russia, and New Zealand have also been added as preferred destinations for studying abroad. But Indian students mostly choose countries like the US, Canada, the UK, and Australia. 

USD 70 billion is calculated to be spent by Indian students on overseas education by the year 2025 and 8.5 lakh Indian students pursuing higher education abroad in 2023, spending around USD 34 billion.
